DAGENAIS, MAXIME - Estate News Article - J. O. Collerette, former partner of Dagenais,
in mining and prospecting, files claim seeking recovery of mining property in Clear Creek,
and $10, 187 which Dagenais received from the sale of the property belong to Collerette.
The suit is a result of a deed of trust by Collerette in 1898, when he transferred all
his mining property to Dengenais so the latter might have freedom in management. He notes
his friend died alone, and in his room were considerable sums of money, deeds, deposit
certificates. He charges that almost immediately after Dagenais' death some relatives
surreptitiously entered his room and removed these valuable belongings, and are now hiding
them. Collerette says these papers would show him to be the owner of the property he
now seeks to recover and that it was merely held in trust by Dagenais. He asks the recovery
of the $10, 187 and he be decreed to be owner of certain Denver Real Estate.

he was run down by a switch engine. The coroner, through inquest, will attempt to

decide the cause tomorrow. (Article extensive in reporting the strike situation in

this area.)RMN 12/08/1911 Page 1 - Death News Article - Boulder, Dec 11, coroner's

DEITER, PETER - Death News Article - at Pueblo, Colo., murder suspect Bay Gordon is
charged with his murder. A man said to be Gordon was arrested in Oklahoma quite by chance
and is being held for Pueblo authorities. William F. McCafferty, of Pueblo, while in
an Oklahoma town last week, saw a man he thought was Gordon and had the fellow locked up.
Two years ago Gordon came to Pueblo and met Deiter, who took a liking to the young man and
employed him. Later Deiter was missed and was reported to have gone east for an extended
trip. Gordon conducted a sale and disposed of much of Dieter's valuable livestock. He
also secured money Deiter had deposited in a Pueblo bank. Gordon's anxiety to get rid
of the livestock caused suspicion on him and an investigation revealed Deiter's body
under a hay stack. A deputy sheriff will leave for Oklahoma to identify the man held there.
